OI10 printing (OpenInsight 64-bit)

Upon further testing OI10.0.8.1 I noticed that displaying an invoice on the screen seems to have a delay. I have the SYSENV*CFG.OIPI set to "VSPRINTER" so I expect to be using the old OIPI not the .net version.
Also, the position of bitmap is different to OI9.4.6.
Has anyone else found differences in printing between OI9.4.6 and OI10.0.8.1
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, Chris. I'm not at my desk right now to check, but I think you want the cfg record to say VSPRINTER1 to use the "classic" version. Change your record to that, exit and re enter OI, and see if it's any better for you?

According to my OI 9.4 notes about OIPI:
SYSENV CFG_OIPI where VSPRINTER2 is the .Net (new) version and VSPRINTER is the vsprint (old).
If you are using set_printer, then the SYSENV configuration is being used.
But, if you want to force the version you can use set_printer1 for the vsprint (old) version and set_printer2 for the .Net (new) version. Every call from set_printerN ('INIT'…) to ('TERM') should be expressed in the same set_printerN in this case.

That is correct.
I also use set_printer2 when ever I require some of the .net functionality. I would dearly like to convert all my printouts to the .NET version but because of the different font sizes that muck up the printouts (invoices, statements, quotes etc). I have 100's of forms so this is a mammoth task.
BTW A few years ago I successfully inserted an Image in an excel spread sheet using the .net oipi. It was the only option that worked.
My problem is the OI10 conversion. Going through some of the incompatabilities including the position of the company logo on top of the invoice using the old VSPRINTER option in OI10.0.8.1. Will get back to try solving this isuue after my logon issue.
