We are running our OINSIGHT application on a citrix server (using Windows 2000 service pack 4). We currently have approximatly 70 citrix sessions running simultaneously. We are finding that several times a day we will have our application "hang" on several of the sessions. We've been able to track the RBASIC line of code that it last executes before OENGINE gets "stuck" and consumes all of the CPU time that it can have. This a a READ statment, to read a record from a file that is out on our Novell Network Server. (each session is actually reading a different record). We're speculating that there is some sort of "network event" that is happening, but not sure what. Any ideas on this, or on how to preceed in isolating the cause of this problem?

No, not compared to our other files (2meg)

We found that our problem was happening when some system backups were being done, that saturated the network. Our resolution to the problem, was to move our citrix server to a different segment from where the backups were being done. However, I'm still questioning why the RBASIC READ statment goes into an infinite loop, consuming all available cpu time, with the increased network traffic. Is there some setting with the NLM running on our Novell server that needs to be tweaked?
