Revelation Reporter runtime version problem

Hello :
I have a problem with the Revelation Reporter runtime version: While in the preview, I make click on the Print button and I receive the next message: "The program has performed an invalid operation and it will shut down. If problem persist, then consult the program supplier" (Or so, because I have translated this message from spanish) and the control returns to the application menu.
Trying to find a solution to this problem, I copied the REPORTER.EXE developer version over the runtime version and the problem was solved.
Any idea that could help me to ship my well tested application on developer environment with the Rev Reporter runtime version?
I'm running OI 3.7 on Win 95.
Thanks in advanced for your help.

Ruben -
Is the report stored in the repository, or as a DOS file? How large is the report? Would you be able to post the details section of the GPF to this discussion thread? You can do this by clicking on "Details" when the program crashed, then cut/pasting the information that is displayed.
Were the runtime and developer versions both OpenInsight 3.7? Were these versions of OpenInsight fresh installs, or were upgrade/modules applied to them?

Chris, here are the answers to your questions:

It is stored in the repository.
How large is the report?
One page. As a matter of fact, I have this problem with all the reports of my application.
Would you be able to post the details section of the GPF to this discussion thread?
Sure. Here they are:
RDVIEWER provocó un fallo de protección general

Yes. They were.
Were these versions of OpenInsight fresh installs, or were upgrade/modules applied to them?
They're fresh installed.
Thanks for your help, Chris.

Are you using the /QU=1 switch? This can cause the type of problem you are describing. If so, the fix to /QU=1 problem is on the list for 3.8, per Kurt Baker.

Where can I find the list for 3.8 per Kurt Baker?

Dan,
I make it personal policy that I do not promise any bug fix in any release. Since I don't code, I steer clear of making these types of promises.
I know you have asked me when this problem was going to be fixed. In an attempt to answer the question, I looked into the SPR (Problem) database and told you when the fixed was scheduled. I make general practice to reiterate that a scheduled fix is not a guarantee; I've been doing software way too long to set myself to make promises when there are way too many variables that could effect the outcome, and reduce my credibility.

I, too, am running OI 3.7 (and all files were subjected to the 3.7 upgrade). The bug only affects my ability to PRINT runtime reports, but not to preview them. The command line I used is as follows: reporter.exe /AP=APPNAME /UN=USERNAME /PW=PASSWORD /RE=1 /PV=1 /RP=REPORT.RPT /QU=1 Needless to say, not having the ability to print reports at runtime is DISASTROUS. The application I built using OI has for ultimate goal the generation of elaborate reports! Please "uncripple" me! </QUOTE> View this thread on the Works forum...
