I have a programmed report which prints at a reasonable speed but if I preview it, as it goes through from page to page it gets slower and slower. This also seems to effect the speed of PDF file creation. This is using OI 7.2.2 but it also occurs in OI 8.0 and 8.01

Has anyone come across this before? any way around it?

Bill, this is possible since the preview mode is building the report in memory and the print mode is sending the report lines directly to the printer after each page. The speed may depend on how much memory is available and what is going on while creating the report.

Thanks Bob but I have 1GB of RAM and 1536MB of Virtual Memory, also there was no such problem with the same report in OI 4.1.3?
