I'm trying to help a co worker setup O4W for testing/demonstration and seem to be having an issue with the initial logon.

We're using 9.3.2 and have upgraded from 9.1.1

We've followed the upgrade paper and this worked in the past with 9.3. However this time we are getting a login page with no Login prompts.

We've tried Firefox, IE9 and Chrome all to no avail. The engine seems to be communicating and taking requests. But a part of the debug screen shows what seems to be a login with id 'o4wsalt'?

Am I on the wrong track and is this usual for the initial logon? or can anyone help ?

thanks,

Brian

Bill,

I have - both in Sysprog and in our System (as recommended in a post here) and i get the following

'No O4Wconfig Procedures record "IUS*Procedures" found in this application'

(This is in our System, Sysprog gives a different error)

hi Brian. usually if you don't see anything on the login page, you've probably experienced a problem loading one of the required java script routines. if you're set up to use google for the source of the jquery library, please make sure this system has internet access and nothing is blocking external access. you may also want top verify that you've gotten the name right for the o4scripts_post6.pack.js file.

please let us know if that works.

If the issue is entry screen with no edit lines then run clientsetup.exe.That sorted it for us :)

Andrew,

Just had word - That was it. It worked up to 9.2 and after that it stopped working until seemingly the clientsetup was run.

Thanks for the help everyone,

Brian
