OpenInsight 8.0.4 is now available in the Works download section.

Please refer to the Readme for what is included in the release.

Also, please pay attention to the upgrade process - you will need to fill out a form for the authorization code, but if you already have uploaded your Oengine.dll to Revelation, you do not need to do so again. Fill out the form, and an authorization code will automatically be emailed to you.

I have found the upgrade scripts are changing the network driver to UD 4.0.0. Since this location is still using drive W2000 1.5 I cannot upgrade the SYSPROG rows. I use NETDRV.exe to examine the current driver.

What are the current plans for release.

Is there going to be an 8.0.5 and 8.0.6 etc before 8.1

My main reason is to understand what the last release will be, and how much time we have to get issues reported for the 8.0 releases before the 8.1 cutoff. This is because the 8.1 licence changes mean that we will need to reconsider how we upgrade to the latest version and ship our product.

Strange. At a different customer I was able to upgrade both the D and W licenses on the Server running OI 8.0.3 and Windows Small Business Server 2003 to 8.0.4.

So, I went to a third customer. Who is running OI 8.0.3 and Windows Server 2003 and have had the same failure with the upgrade changing the network driver from All Networks ver 1.5 to UD 4.0.0.

I have remembered to stop the OengineServer service before the upgrade.

I'll be at this site (PM) again on Monday and will call in for help.
