Some relational indexes when updated display an error

FS100: Record "ITEM_NO" does not exist.

yet if I rebuild this same index instead of update the rebuild appears to be normal.

The client noticed this when updating all indexes. I have removed and restored the index and an update still displays the error. I have further noticed that at least 5 other relational indexes display this FS100: error on an update. Not all relational index display this error.

Spoke with david and he thought that relational indexes do not get updated with the update option as they are immediately written to file.

Can the client ignore the displayed error.

TIA

Chris

What is ITEM_NO?

Relational indexes normally get updated during the write, but there is a chance that the update can sit in the !file for a while.
