Hi, I am trying to connect to my application using OECGI2. When the registry settings are set to SYSPROG for the application name, user name and user password I am able to successfully run INET_TRACE and INET_TEST_CONNECT. When I change to my desired application name I get the following when using either of the Inet routines above. "1 Login failed -3100". I also change my user name and user password for the new application. Can anyone tell me what the error message indicates may be the problem? Thank you, Patrick

The solution is simple - make sure to enter the password in the user manager in all upper case and the registry entries for password and username all caps.

Thank you Warren, I did read that thread before posting but everything works fine using OECGI with the same settings (app user and password). I do have OECGI2 working fine with another application I have but will explore your suggestion.
