Performed an APPBACKUP today. Did a restore to a local

disk and discovered that oodles of Stored Procedure scripts

were missing. The EXE's seem there, but that doesn't

help much because I don't know what else might be missing.

Any suggestions? I really don't want to do a massive

Check-Out Copy-To number.

OI Version is 3.7.

Some further observations:

After rebuilding the repository indexes in the target

environment, the STPROCS appeared in the Open Stored

Procedure dropdown. It turned out that they were there

all the time, just not visible.

One sidebar question, what conditions prevent Table-

Builder from saving the temporary dictionary? I would

assume that if it gave me access to create a temporary

copy, it would allow that temporary copy to be saved. Is

there a place where the temp dict is stored, such that

it can be copied back to the original??

Don -

In regards to the DICT.TEMP_FILE, it is stored as a DOS file just like any other linear hash table. Attaching the Revmedia file is one way to figure out what the DOS filename of the temporary table is.
