2nd user slow down (OpenInsight 32-Bit)

We have a small customer who have just bought a second user licence and are now running our OI v7.2.1 app on a Novell network, without an NLM. With one person logged on, performance is ok (normal). However, when they have a second user logged on, the performance turned to be very very slow for both workstations.
The network/environment details:
- Novell NetWare 6.5 SP6, running a TCP/IP network.
- All the workstations are running XP Pro SP2, using Novell Network Client v4.92.
- OI is using the All Networks Driver v2.1
- CA eTrust Antivirus (with the .LK and .OV files as exclusions)
We're having trouble diagnosing this. Any ideas what could cause the slow down on this simple set up?

Why aren't they using the NLM or UD 3.x?

Search for Novell and Slow on this board. There are several posts with suggestions. Since you are not using the NLM, there is no reason not to try later UD drivers as John suggests.

Whilst it does not involve Term Services or Citrix, the same second user speed degradation issue is resolved on these platforms if the Station Id is made unique. It is likely they are unique anyway for you, but perhaps worth a check. This can be enforced quite easily, please advise if code needed.

Thanks for your help, all. Didn't think about station ID - that makes sense. I can force uniqueness there if necessary.
