Early on in the AREV to OI conversion process I created a simple app so my supervisor could get the feel of OI vs AREV. Over the weeks he has created several dozen reports using the report writer and now wants them copied to the actual working/live program. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Charlie

Charlie,

The reports are in the SYSREPOSREPORTS table. You should be able to copy them.

Hello Sean,

I tried your suggestion and what happens is that all the reports show up when I choose to open an existing report but when I select an individual report, I receive an error message saying the report doesn't exist. I rebuilt the system indexes but that didn't help. Any advice or should I just tell my supervisor to start from scratch?

Thanks, Charlie

Charlie,

If application that you are copying from has the same name as the destination application you could do an RDK.

Also, you copy over the SYSREPOS records for the reports form your source application.

The RDK worked. Never thought about doing it that way…Thanks, Sean!
