IMPORT_ASCII in deployed application (None Specified)

Ok, built a little app. Included IMPORT_ASCII on the menu, worked great on my development system. deployed the runtime.
Logged into the runtime, and the IMPORT_ASCII window comes up. volia!
My defination is not there though. Oh well, make a new one.
Nope, error message "Failure to read resource record!" Now what.
I'm sure the answer is somewhere in my office in some file somewhere, but maybe someone can shorten the search for me.
