I'm trying to convert a report from DirectPrint to Set_Printer. The printer has a hole punch and stapler. With DirectPrint, I was able to send the ASCII code to select whether to punch or staple a report. I can't seem to send the codes to select staple with Set_Printer and I can't seem to make DirectPrint set the printer to staple and the report to use Set_Printer together. Here is part of the code I need to use to set the printer function: PJLStrst= Char(27) : "%-12345X". Does anyone have any suggestions?

Set_Printer and Direct_Print cannot work together. It is an either/or solution. Set_Printer does not accept printer escape codes, it uses the print drivers in Windows and does communicate directly with the printer. The only method, that I am aware of, to have the hole punch and stapler options in OIPI, is to preview the report and then select those options from the printer's preferences dialog in Windows.
