Greetings!

Can someone tell be where the flag is to tell the target system that users do NOT have to log out?

My 'homemade' rdk install process is now breaking (after upgrading) because I have an extra engine running.

The default now must require logout and I want to set the flag so the rdk will run with the extra engine running.

Thanks and have fun,

Paxton

What version of OI.

There is a 7.2.1 patch for a problem with "Users required to logout flag". Flag was being unset but ignored.

Paxton,

On the Deployment Definition window of the RDK tool in the "Path, Settings & Options" tab there is a check box named "Require Users to Log Out". This check box can be toggled on and off for your purpose.

Well,

Thanks for the reply, but it did not address my question.

Note that I have my own routine that mimics yours. I do not yes the screen with the check box. I want to know where the flag is that the checkbox sets.

Thanks.

Paxton,

Field 36 of SYSREPOSRELEASES record is the "Require Users to Logout" flag's position.

Sean,

Thanks for the reply, and the location of the flag in the record in SYSREPOSRELEASES file.

But, I suspect that this flag gets put into one of the records in SUSUPGRADE, probably %MODULE%. Maybe field 1?

Well, maybe the flag gets compiled into rdkinstall object code stuffed into %RUN%?

How, does the target system know?

Paxton,

A record in the SYSUPGRADE table is created. The key to the record is %REQLO% and the possible values are 1 (Require Logout) or 0 (Do Not Require Logout).

Thanks, I thought I had seen %REQLO% somewhere.
