I am having a problem installing a 7.1 application upgrade via RDKInstall to a 7.01 runtime. SYSUPGRADE is there and appears to contain the upgrade data, however nothing happens on the runtime system and there are no error messages.

I try the same repository view and deployment definition from a 7.01 development system and the RDKInstall works fine.

Shouldn't you upgrade the 7.01 runtime to 7.1 before installing the deploy?

I have tried this as well and it still does not work.

Hi Andrew

Did you create the upgrade with the Universal Driver 3.x, then try to install with the 2.1 All Networks?

If so, switch your 7.1 system back to 2.1, recreate the export, try again.

incompatiblity of file system strikes again .. it should be smart enough to know how to handle both .. The name 'universal' implies better univerality
