While I have had success in using dataset bound forms I never have been able to use the date field in them. The date field was not required until now. So now I need to address this problem.

The dataset is against a FoxPro database connection. I can add the date field and display it as is or Oconv it to display it the way I want. However I can no longer change, add or delete the record in the form without getting a MS ODBC data type mismatch error. It doesn't seem to matter how I format the date, same result.

If I remove the date field from the dataset and from the form it works fine.

Has anyone encountered this problem and how did you correct it?
