In Arev31/32 we have the commands:

SHELL('NET USE LPT1: /delete',2)

SHELL('NET USE LPT1: "':PRINTER.NAME$:'" /Y',2)

Both our production version of Arev31 and our development version of Arev32 are on remote servers. When running the program that contains the above script in Arev31, the printer physically connected to LPT1 on the client PC gets mapped to the PC's LPT1. In Arev32, the server's LPT1 gets mapped to the server's LPT. How would I replicate Arev31's functionality into Arev32?

Thanks.

As the service is running on the server this is a result. We suggest either running with local services or local engines.

Matt, the printing issues get a little complex in AREV32. Give me a call and we can talk about your set up.
