Hi,

When we updated our development system to 10.2.0.0 using the update program and then installed a base copy of 10.2.0.0 on our server as a gold standard base to compare to, we are getting the "new update available of 10.2.0.0 - download here" message. It links us to what we already installed.

I checked help-about in both the upgraded and the base system and it lists the version as 10.2 (no .0.0). Is the check just mismatched? Is there a record that I can update to cause this check to not come up?

Hi, Brad. Yes, as another side-effect of the transition to the new website, the record that OI checks to see if it's up to date got slightly messed up. I think it's been fixed now, so if you exit and re-enter OI when running the IDE on a 10.2 system, you shouldn't see the message any more - please try it and let me know?

Note also (for future reference) that when the message appears, you're given the options to go to the website, ignore the message (for just this one time), "sleep" the message, and ignore this version update entirely. Choosing to ignore this version update entirely, or sleep the message, will make it stop appearing each time you open the IDE.

Sorry for the confusion!

Hope that helps,

Hi Bryan - FWIW, I am still seeing this message pop up.

Hi, Don. Can you post the contents of the OI_UPDATED SYSENV record on the system where you're still seeing this?

Thanks,

Hi, Don. Thanks for that.

I've updated the record that gets checked to reflect that earlier build date, so the message should hopefully stop appearing on that system. Please give it a go and let us know?
