The prompt number of the field for which to prompt first (after all of the key fields have been completed in the case of a data entry window, or regardless in the case of a collector window). Note that if in a browse list this will cease to apply as the window processor has been modified to keep the position within a browse list even if start is set.

If the first few non key fields in a window are symbolics this can be used to speed up window processing. For further details see the on-line help available from F10, Customise, Start.
