I tried posting this yesterday but I'm not seeing it so will try here again. Is it possible to use OI Git with Universe/U2 tables?

I have not tested it, so probably not.
In theory it would work if you tell the editor that your U2 program file is a stored procedure source. OI will then track records in that table as repository entities of type OPROC, and when you save them in the editor it will export a copy to the GIT folder. You would need to be disciplined about only using OI to edit the programs.
Most U2 apps store their files as plain text in a folder, so you should be able to use GIT directly on that folder without involving OI. There is a VS Code extension for editing Multivalue programs. That might be a more integrated solution for U2 and GIT.

Thanks Bob - I downloaded the VS Code extension for MV programs and while it's got nice features it requires the code to be copied to your local machine and is meant only for basic programs. What do I need to do to identify U2 files as stored procedure sources? Will it track other records as well? Like dictionaries?
