In the application manager I found a dict for a temp file (no file to match). In the definition I told it not to deploy it but thought it may be a problem anyway.  When I tried to delete it I got message that it doesn't exist, is inherited or protected and am thrown to the Delete Entity window.   In the Delete Entity Window aka "the Twilight Zone"  I found the entity list on the right doesn't match up with selection in Type/Class column on the left.  For example when Images is selected on the left side - the appnotes shows up on the right, When appnotes is selected on the left the right is blank - selecting message boxes on the left yields BMPS & ICONS.  Down the list on the left OpenInsight Form Executables & Popup Boxes display the same entity list on the right and in both cases the first line is .



Now if any of that makes since and you have an idea where I go from here TIA

If you are still showing the Temp dict files, try these methods..

from the EXEC line in System Editor-



[b]RUN DELETE_TABLE "TEMP_FILENAME"[/b]



If it doesn't let you do that, we can try detaching it, and redefining the database..



* to detach

[b]RUN DETACH_TABLE "TEMP_FILENAME"[/b]



* to re-define the database

[b]RUN DEFINE_DATABASE "APPNAME", 1[/b]



If it doesn't let you do THAT, tyr looking in the DBT file for the app, but be careful and ONLY remove any references to temporary tables.
