We're trying to establish if there would be any interest in a product which published Rev G data directly to the web. Rev products are known for their longevity so we'd be interested in exploring this market.

If you or your clients might be interested in such a tool please sales@sprezzatura.com

Hmmm…

Interesting concept. Have one app that it might be useful when I make the changes they need - provided they stay in business long enough, Involves publishing current inventory list for e-selling. Currently the send a generate text file to a guy who does the web thing with it. Should learn this stuff some day. It's not like its hard or anything.

Here's a suggestion I've been pondering: I could use a TSR that is placed on a client machine that would handle a network request for a record and handle the file selection overhead on the host machine. Helpful for a dialup connection request to a large LNK file, simply returning the record in question rather than bringing it all in.

Interesting prospects with this one and you guys ARE the Pros near Dover. Any thoughts?

The TSR you describe seems to basically provide no more functionality than using say pcAnywhere unless I am missing a point? With pcAnywhere or even NetMeeting, the procesing takes place on the host with just screen scrapes being sent back to the client. Or am I missing something?

The RevG thing is garnering interest so we'll add you to the list of interested parties!
