OI Crash (OpenInsight 32-Bit)

I suspect it is a PC fault, but I was wondering if anyone can confirm.

Barry, We run into a lot of problems with networked XP in particular if it is home addition. The cure seems to be the Universal Driver. And in particular the UD lite is a great deal for a couple of users.

Another thing to look at is the video drivers. With some brand spanking new Dell boxes with the Universal Driver and running on a well set up Win2003 server we saw OI crashes caused by the video driver. Simple updates from the manufacturers web site solved the problem.

Can UD only run on networked PCs (Ms Network) if the LH UD service is running on the Master PC?

The PCs are NEC.
