Sequential Keys - Unique? (None Specified)

Before we create the logic, want to be sure I have not missed something. Does OI handle providing multiple data entry persons with unique keys?…We don't mind a few 'holes' due to a key being handed and not used….We have discovered the same limitation as AREV, same key handed to two stations, "last one to save wins". No warning even.

Paxton,

If you lock the key two users will not get the same key. But if a user changes her mind you may get 'holes'.

You might want to read the thread

Mark Martin, Revelation, published a function theat finds the next available key. See http://www.revelation.com/WEBSITE/DISCUSS.NSF/f12696d31000b22a8525652b00831bb2/26b5e3cd1bb74613852563a9006b8b79?OpenDocument. The function locks the key.
