in system editor the following will not work ..
RUN RDKINSTALL "\\DsigLaptop\SharedDocs\Deploy"
Get the following …
C:\\DSIGLAPTOP\SHAREDDOCS\DEPLOY
FS109: Open or Create Media error. The name "C:\\DSIGLAPTOP\SHAREDDOCS\DEPLOY" is an invalid volume directory label.

David,
I have not tested but will the following work?:
RUN RDKINSTALL " \\DsigLaptop\SharedDocs\Deploy"
Notice the space between the open quote and first backslash. This is what needs to be used when attaching tables etc, perhaps the RDKINSTALL needs it in that manner also.
Sean
You're the man!! I can feel the love (and I can run the rdk with unc)
Thanks

Fixed in 4.1.3- RTP49 issue…
Does this fix mean that we won't have to put spaces between the quote and slash characters anymore?
dbakke@srpcs.com
Means we'll not be able to feel the love any more.
Hahahahaha!
- Oy -
Does this mean we can use UNC in our shortcut for OI and OIPI will not give the "evaluation" message.
Ray
Correct
Just for the record,
RUN RDKINSTALL ".\\\DsigLaptop\SharedDocs\Deploy"
appears to work as well.
