CLICK event

Occurs when a user presses, then releases, the mouse button over a control.

bforward = CLICK(ctrlentID, ctrlclassID)

CLICK accepts arguments for the following parameters.

ParameterDescription
ctrlentIDHas the format WindowName.ControlName, where WindowName is the identifier of the window that contains the affected control, and ControlName is the identifier of the control. Notice that a period separates the two values.
ctrlclassIDThe type of control that recognizes the event. Valid entries are:

Type - Description
CHECKBMP - Check box with a bitmap on it.
CHECKBOX - Check box.
EDITTABLE - Edit table.
ICON - Icon.
PUSHBMP - Push-button with a bitmap on it.
PUSHBUTTON - Push-button.
RADIOBMP - Radio button with a bitmap on it.
RADIOBUTTON - Radio button.
TABCONTROL - Sets and navigates to the tab which was selected.

True or false. If false, the program execution returns to the calling procedure. If true, then event processing goes to the next level.

To determine the clicked row in an edit table, use the NOTIFYPOS property. For the CHECKBMP and CHECKBOX types, use the CHECK property to get the current state; for the RADIOBUTTON types, use the VALUE property.
