I am new to ViP and DX. I installed it on my PC at work and used DX to select data for a report. I tried to do the same thing on my PC at home, but when I click on Notes as the data source, it doesn't show any directories or db's.

I have Notes installed on my C drive at work but it is on the E drive at home. Is this why it doesn't find it. I have e:\notes in my path.

Hello Elly,

From our phone conversation it sounds like the Notes directory on your hard drive has been relocated.

I would suggest that you uninstall Notes through the add/remove program section of the control panel. Then re-install Notes.

This will resolve the problem of Notes pointing to two different locations in your registry.

It should also resolve the issue of ViP/DX not being able to locate the required dll files in the Notes directory and allow you to browse the Notes databases in the data source window of DX.

Hope this helps,
