UDC's are not documented in OI, but by and large they are the same as in AREV. There are a few differences which have been documented on the messages boards so I'd do a search for UDC. If you can't find anything then let me know and I'll post some messages that have been made on the subject here.
Regarding CtrlEntId, it would be best to get the FOCUS property of @Window.
