Is it possible to print a report through windows to a windows printer in landscape mode? Is this possible or am I SOL? I used to have a Deskjet 500 and could press a button and the report would print in landscape, now I have a new printer (820Cse) and there are no buttons to push! Any solutions or comments?

When I need to print in landscape, the way I do is to actually pass the PCL commands to the printer to reformat the page. Same way that I use to control font sizes and line spacing as well.

I'm using an 820Cse under Win98 and find that the following works:

Send a standard laserjet command for Landscape when printing to file; then copy the file to lpt1 or type to prn

Grab the output file with a windows editor and set the printer to landscape.

With Win98, a pcl command seems to pass thru when printing direct to the printer; if not do the above.
