In testing the new Novell 4.11 with Windows 95 using Arev 2.12 I found that the locking program that I used in 3.11 does not work with 4.11. I downloaded this program from Compuserve so that I can see who has a record locked. When I use it in 4.11 it does not work at all. I wrote the program you are using. As far as I know the following conditions will enable it to work under Windows 95:

(a) Use the later Microsoft 32 bit client from Windows 95B version 4.095.111 (OSB version), or, the Novell 32 bit client 2.11 or 2.12 or later. Early microsoft Win 95's did not support the logical locking calls required for this to work.

(b) As supervisor, grant all users file server console operator privileges.
