When I use the SCAN_REP options to validate Uses and Used by, does it actually go out and do the work that each area would do to relate items? (confused yet?) For example, when I save a report I assume it is storing the table name in the Uses and updating the table by placing the report in the Used by.

So does SCAN_REP only verify what is in Uses and Used by or does it actually "update" Uses and Used by?

I have some tables that do not show they are used by a report even though the really are.

We need to rely on Uses and Used by. Are there any relationships that are not maintained or are not trustworthy?

It does not re-evaluate the entity to determine the uses/used by; rather, it uses the information already there and makes sure that all references are mutual and to legal, existing entities.

All our reports are based on tables. Some reports do show the proper tables in the "Uses" and others do not show a table at all. How can we re-establish these missing relationships?
