I have read the white paper "Using International Character Sets with OpenInsight for Workgroups" and understand the use of CHAR(250) - (255) as system delimiters.

What I'm looking for clarification on is whether the presence of any OTHER high-order bit characters within indexed data could present an issue in an index table?

TIA

Indexes use @FM to delimit fields, @VM to delimit values and @SVM for internal purposes. After that, standard rules apply as to what happens to the data with system delimiters.
