Have 2008 server and FS1005 errors, so in reading this group, it appears an upgrade to UD4.7 is the way to go:
Running setup.exe on 2008 server:
A previous version of the UD has been found on this system. Continuing will replace this version with the UD 4.7…
I then point the update to the directory where my lh46srvc.* is installed and I get:
An existing UD is not installed in the specified directory (dir name). Please specify….
Can we please have some assistance here..

OK RTFM - & I see instructions to manually remove the registry entry. As I do.
The setup.exe then works fine and prompts me for a key - to which i enter the current key - alas the key appears not to work.
So how do we get the update happening please?

Martin,
Chances are your key is NT+8digits while the 4.7 requires a nine digit (provision for all the extra people deploying this).
While the upgrade is $0, Rev would like you to register the upgrade. So the process may be contact David or (with his nod), an email with the site etc rego details to Dee@revelation.com

Richard's suggestions are spot on. Current serial numbers are 9 characters long and begin with NT (for purchase Universal Driver) or NU (for Network User License Universal Driver). Also check that the characters are entered into the setup program in UPPER case.

Richard - hello mate. I didn't realise you could be so sarcastic. I will call Dave. Am still chuckling here!
How are you doing over there - can't believe what's happened in Christchurch. Our 3 TV channels have it on near the whole day.

Its a tragedy and drama of huge proportions. Fantastic help from international community - 100's of of rescue specialist, police and welfare from Oz, Japan, USA, UK etc are on ground or arriving. City is trashed - like a war zone or worse. Despite the disaster, great community spirit, … so many people reflecting good fortune in surviving the un-survivable; amazing generosity, optimism and sense of purpose. Going to be tough for many in next few months but we will get a new city out of this.
BTW to repeat offer - any Revelation customers in ChCh that need help getting their systems back up - Revelation is offering new software and we will help with remediation etc.
