Situation -

OI v4.1

In an form, on the key prompt, we have the validation set to

8N with an output conversion of L##-####-##

This is the way we want the data to be displayed (and printed)

However, when valid data is entered into the control (text),

the display doubles the first - , so the data displays as

##–###-#

It does not matter if the conversion is on the form and not

in the dictionary of the table, or the table has the output

conversion and the form does not.

We use this control id for releases of material, so it is very

important for the data to be displayed properly.

Does anybody know of a workaround for this.

I have created new forms for just testing purposes, and it does

the same thing of test forms, so it is not just limited to a

certain form or it's properties.
