Some of the OI16 upgrades include a FIXVOL utility. FIXVOL repairs a problem with LK files ]= 64MB.

But is it strictly a cure for large tables? Or can there be latent problems with small tables that will come to the surface later, when they grow big enough? The FIXVOL readme file indicates the latter. I qoute: "Revelation Software recommends that the FIXVOL utility be run as a precaution in every directory containing files with a .LK extension, regardless of their size and whether or not an error has been detected."

How real is the danger?
