Well, nobody seems to care too much about having a properly working multilingual development environment (i.e. there were no answers/comments following my post of last week), and I can somewhat understand that.

What I'd like to read is a clear formal statement from Revelation Software, so to know what do we (developers) have to do on the broad "localization" subject (maybe to develop the whole thing from scratch, over and over, just for a bunch of apps?).

Our lack of response is primarily due to the virtually nill involvement with international applications. However, this might change shortly for us.

On a general level, I would hope that all advertised features of OpenInsight would work very well. However, I must also confess that if I have no need of a particular feature then I am not as vocal about getting it fixed. My apologies for that, but it is the reality of only being focused on what I need. (However, that being said, I realize that some of my 'hot buttons' are of little concern to others so sometimes this issue works both ways.)

My suspicion is that the comments were directed at the lack of Rev response rather than the lack of community response. The community is not capable of rectifying the original complaints. That said holiday periods in the US do have knock on effects on responsiveness.

I'm sorry to say that I glossed over this item last week (jet lag, I think) but it should have been at least acknowledged by the development staff. I suspect that they did not respond because the I18N stuff is one of my areas of responsibility in the product.

That said, I'll review your list this morning, and respond in detail.
