1) Trying to deply a large number of changes. Using either 'changed since' or all in application. I get the listbox on the left displayed but when I want to select the items to deploy .. either the ]] or the ]" (after several selections) I get a message

'Too many items to display in listbox. List truncated'

From this point the I can't deselect and select others etc. AND it seems that extraction is not complete. There are a lot of 'class' buttons without names in the right hand listbox

HOW DO I get all items to be deployed?

2)After selecting a couple items for extraction I get message

"" does not exist.

At this point the system seems to go unstable. I have to exit OI completely to rety the deployment.

I have run scanrep .. no problems except for those problems that ship with OI (see a different thread .. )

This is a FRESH oi.

I shutdown oi and rebooted .. then tried deployment again. I did a 'since ..' with a date not so far out and then ]] and got all items on the righthand listbox.

Then Started the deployment and got the "" not there message again and system stopped.

After exiting and rebooting I checked the "don't display error messages then ran again .. it seems to have completed. I will install on test machine and see if there are any missing items.

1) what is "" the deployment means. Once again the repository is okay (according to scanrep). Is it possible to add a log to the deployment so that we could see the exact messages in a deployment. Some of the 'classes' move so fast that you can't see where it is when it .. errr .. suspends processing

Can you tell me at what step of deployment, that is the Extraction Progress, this '"" does not exist' is popping up? It would be a lot

easier to track this down if you could find this out. Also, when you say that it seemed to have completed after suppressing error messages, I'm assuming that there was no error log at the end? There should be with any problems during the extraction.

I'll keep looking into this in the meantime.

Thanks for the quick followup ..

I can only tell you that the message comes up in the window that allows you to delete all creted files etc from the deployment.

I press the start button .. the deployment processes for while and then this error/msg box comes up.

It would be great if, as I noted, all messages were actually logged so one could see where things fall apart.

What I meant to say was at which stage(s) of the extraction is it stopping at. In the Deploying 'applicationname' window, which shows extraction progress, there are four stages of extraction, Entity Extraction (phase three) for example. Again, this would be very useful to know.
