A client of our just discovered that even if the user is configured as a "User" ( i.e., not a "System Administrator" or "Administrator" ) and if the shortcut includes the /IDE=1 switch, the new Application Manager (i.e., RTI_IDE_MDI) will automatically run after the application entry point launches.

Furthermore, while some tools respect the restrictions imposed by the "User" access level, the System Editor++ doesn't seem to have any restrictions. Thus, a normal user can open programs, compile code, see data, etc.
