The other day I installed our system onto a new client using the W95 print drivers for an Epson bubble jet and the results were bizarre - the fonts printed OK, but all fields were wrapping at about 1/3 of their original size. However it did print quickly, queuing multiple print jobs.

I reverted the Win. 3.1 16 bit driver which the client still had, and all was OK. However this driver is obviously way less efficient in terms of time taken to spool the report.

We are using OI3.5, W95 and generally sending Basic+ criteria to reports - which I've recently noticed seems not to be recommended?

I'd appreciate any input.

A couple of ideas:

1. The print driver itself is at fault, probably because it was packaged with printer at the last minutes and there is already an updated driver at the website. However if this is the case then you should see similar results with other applications as well.

2. Is this driver being selected as the default printer driver? If not, and you are selecting it via the Print Setup option, you will get odd results. All Reporter (for that matter, most other applications as well) print jobs need to print to the default print driver rather than one that was chosen from the Print Setup window.
