Revelation Software and Windows 98 (Network Compatibility)

Preliminary Windows98 testing has been performed with the following Revelation products:

* Windows98 does not currently ship with 2 DLLs that are necessary to run the NLM with OpenInsight. These DLLs are:
NWCALLS.DLL size: 147,824 dated 9/20/96
NWIPXSPX.DLL size: 41,088 dated 2/9/96
These 2 DLLs should either be in your path, or in WINDOWS\SYSTEM. The DLLs that we used were from the Novell Client32 v2.2 for Win95. Since the Client32 cannot be used with Win98 at the present time, we copied these DLLs into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM, overwriting the NWCALLS.DLL that Microsoft ships with Win98. If these DLLs are present on your server you should add them to your search path. If not, you should download the current Client32 from Novell, expand the zip files, and copy these 2 DLLs into your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. This does not need to be done for Advanced Revelation.
All tests were performed on Windows98 Beta3 (Build 1650).
