Debugger Overview

An application development environment requires tools that allow the developer to monitor the execution of processes and locate problems with code. An even more powerful capability is to provide an environment in which "what if" scenarios can be run without having to recompile code. OpenInsight provides two tools which provide this capability and assist the developer in this phase of the development cycle: the Debugger and the System Monitor.

This chapter describes how the OpenInsight Debugger and the System Monitor can be accessed, what functionality they provide, and presents examples of how to use them.
