The value of the record as it was originally read from disk. To see if a record has been changed by the operator compare @RECORD to WC_OREC%. Note though that if the "Preserve Fields" option from the "Customise" window in paint has been set , then @RECORD will not equal WC_OREC% even at the post read stage.
